Talk:Treasury/Budgets/2007 Operations
From Sekhet-Maat Lodge
- Local Dues $16,800.00
- I notice that this is considering a lower number of initiates contributing, and that it does not include pledges. Excellent.

- Cloudburst Recycling $205.90
- Are you sure? My rough calculations are more like 270. Do I have it right that we pay about $45 every other month? --Fr. HydraLVX 06:31, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- This is what the QB is showing, I can raise it if you like, it is quite possible that one of the entries was miscategorized.--Misskim 09:37, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- NW Natural Gas $491.50 | PGE Electric $605.12 | Qwest Telephone $470.96 | Insurance $500.00
- I'm guessing these are all based on last year. --Fr. HydraLVX 06:31, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- Yep, all for the time frame of Sept 2005-2006.--Misskim 09:37, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- Bank of America $94.53
- What does this mainly consist of? I know last year we were paying for some extra online banking thing that we ended up dropping. --Fr. HydraLVX 06:31, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- Good point. This has the online banking numbers in it, which Jimmy cancelled and paid back. On the other hand, I am still trying to figure out if it actually GOT cancelled, since I think we are still paying it. I am hoping to have time today when I take the deposit in and check. I will adjust this number once I figure that out. --Misskim 09:37, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- Paypal $126.44
- About $11 per month. That's surprising. --Fr. HydraLVX 06:31, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- Yep, its a fairly large amount. OTOH, many folks have adjusted their amounts, or made a donation to offset this cost. --Misskim 09:37, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- Postage $31.84
- Again I assume this is based on past years? Does this include L&S mailing or? --Fr. HydraLVX 06:31, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- Based on same as before, and no, it covers no L and S and Mick has always donated this. Ralph was checking to see if he will continue this, and I think it is a good possibility that he will. This amount is to cover any shipping that Jimmy might have done, but mostly is postage for Dawn for Secretary things. It should cover the whole year, as I always donated this, so the expenses would have began incurring in Sept of 2005, which is when I have been grabbing numbers from. --Misskim 09:37, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- Web page $149.50
- Should be right. I think M.T. pays for the registration, which is going to be about $10 per year I think. We could ask him but I don't think it matters much for this budget. --Fr. HydraLVX 06:31, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- Wine $360.00
- Probably pretty close. --Fr. HydraLVX 06:31, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- Roses $479.52
- This is low. Counting 60 masses as above, at $10 per dozen we are talking $600. --Fr. HydraLVX 06:31, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- True, but we won't be using more than four dozen a month, as they will last for a week. Already figured this in. So for a Sat/Sun mass, we only need one dozen.--Misskim 09:37, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- Other consumables
- I think you'll want to check those numbers. Some of them seem pretty OK. I don't know about that coffee though. When we start buying it, I think we'll see that people are drinking it more, and we should be getting good coffee. Also juice seems low. Candle oil is iffy. The rest I am clueless about. --Fr. HydraLVX 06:31, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
- I can have David check again, but I doubled checked them based on my own shopping experiences. We can buy oil in bulk for pretty cheap. If you get those small bottles from Freddies or online they are pricy, but I get it much cheaper. Most of the cleaning supplies I think are a bit high because he's assuming a few bottles of each, when in reality we use about 1-2... I can adjust if you like on those. --Misskim 09:37, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
