Our celebration of the vulgar New Year will begin on December 31, 2006 e.v. at 7:30pm. Open to Sekhet-Maat Lodge Members and their guests, this masquerade ball will be a place to celebrate and have a safe haven to enjoy the beauty and ambience of Thelemic Brotherhood.
Theme
Our theme is The Wake World: a Tale for Babes and Sucklings (with explanatory notes in Hebrew and Latin for the use of the Wise and Prudent), so come dressed to symbolize a path on the Tree of Life—whether it be something directly mentioned in the fairytale, or some other correspondence from Liber 777, such as Tarot, Alchemical, god forms, etc.
Food & Drink
Admission includes a substantial selection of hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages. You'll also find microbrews, wines, and champagne available for purchase throughout the evening.
Vending
Sekhet-Maat Lodge will have a selection of items for sale, including abramelin oil, mugs, stickers, t-shirts, posters and more.
Midnight Toast
Those of the proper age will be treated to a glass of champagne for a midnight toast by the Lodge Master.
Proceeds
Any profit resulting from this event will be used to upgrade our initiation equipment.

Volunteers are still needed to help out. Contact Paul to volunteer.
Sunday Mass Canceled
Because we will be busy setting up for the evening's festivities, the regularly scheduled celebration of the Gnostic Mass at 3pm will be canceled on Dec. 31.
