5th Annual Thelemic Symposium: About M. Lisa Faulkner

M. Lisa Faulkner is the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica (E.G.C.) Secretary for U.S. Grand Lodge, O.T.O. She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband (an E.G.C. Priest), two teenagers, and four cats. In the early 1990s EV, while serving as Treasurer of a pagan group that puts on large festivals, she met the founding members of Scarlet Woman Camp (now Scarlet Woman Lodge). She took her Minerval initiation in 1995 EV, was baptized in the E.G.C. soon thereafter, and immediately began her novitiate. In 1996 EV, the Outer Head of the Order (O.H.O.) capitalized on her ten years of professional experience in non-profit accounting by appointing her Assistant Treasurer General for O.T.O. International. As a corporate officer, she was responsible for the publications accounting and assisting the O.H.O. During her seven year tenure, she worked her way through the Man of Earth Triad, becoming a chartered Initiator in 1997 EV, and an ordained Priestess in 1998 EV. She also served as art director for Agapé, the Official Organ of U.S. Grand Lodge, O.T.O., for many years. She was ordained Bishop Tau Marie in 2002 EV.

Currently, Bishop Faulkner is committed to reconstructing many years of unreported E.G.C. ceremonies, developing a training program for the clergy, and working on the E.G.C. website. She is a member of Scarlet Woman Lodge, and is the High Priestess pro tem. of Anahita Chapter R+C in Seattle, Washington. She celebrates Liber XV monthly for the Lodge in her home chapel, the Nymphaeum Falconis.
